Mona Dawood is a molecular biologist with an emphasis in computational drug discovery and target therapy. She has diverse experience in targeting epigenetics for treatment of cancer.
At 4HF, she performs in silico analyses to identify small molecules that bind to our selected cancer targets. Mona Dawood has been with 4HF Biotec since 2021 and is also assistant professor in the department of molecular biology, from the faculty of medical laboratory science, Al-Neelain University, in Khartoum, Sudan.
She holds a master´s degree in genetics and molecular biology from the university of Khartoum, Sudan and a Ph.D. in Pharmacy focusing on identification of molecular and cellular mechanism of cancer drug from Department of Pharmaceutical Biology in the Institute of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
